Ageing is simply is the process of becoming older including during which structural and functional changes accumulate in organism that result in decline of organism’s peak fertility and physiological function until death for the hope is that one day these findings will be translated into strategies or treatments to prevent, delay, or slow age-related diseases.

The causes of ageing are uncertain current theories suggests accumulation of damage such as DNA oxidation may cause biological systems to fail, or to the programmed ageing or DNA methylation cause problems with the internal processes.
