Biography

Dr. Petkoska is a Full Professor at University St. Kliment Ohridski-Bitola, N. Macedonia, and has been actively involved in R&D of numerous innovative products, proprietary materials, formulations and technologies. Examples include but not limited to variety of micro- and nano- polymer composites, thin films and coatings, antimicrobial formulations and technology platforms for fabrication of antimicrobial surfaces, antisoiling and self-cleaning surfaces, food contact materials, low-power-consumption reflective display devices, hybrid solar panels, phytochemicals for nutrition, nutricosmetics, etc. Dr. Petkoska is the author and co-author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, books and book chapters and has been awarded with two US patents. Dr. Petkoska holds PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA and MSc in Materials/Polymer Science from Ss Cyril and Methodius University, Macedonia.
